To apply for one of our academic programmes (Master's Degrees, Postgraduate Diplomas and Semester Programmes), please click here to apply online and complete your application in minutes. Enrolment is taken on a rolling basis throughout the year, but we do encourage you to apply at the earliest possible opportunity to ensure sufficient time for processing your application. We will start processing 2011 applications for our MA degree and Diploma programmes in early October. Recommended deadline for applications from non-EU countries: 31 May, 2011. Students from non EU countries who need a visa to enter the UK are strongly recommended to submit their application by 31 May, 2010. Due to the UK visa requirements and processing time, it may take up to 10 weeks to obtain a Tier 4 Points Based System General Adult student visa. Applications for Semester Programmes need to be sent prior to the start date of a particular programme. Entry Requirements If you would like to discuss your qualifications, please feel free to contact with the Institute’s Registrar, Venetia Hill-Perkins, in London by e-mail at v.hill-perkins@sothebysinstitute.com or phone at +44 (0)20 7462 3201, before submitting an application. Transcripts If your first language is not English please send us documentation of appropriate English proficiency test scores. Unfortunately, we are not able to give you a full offer on a postgraduate programme until we have received your English Language test scores. The minimum requirements for all postgraduate programmes are fluent written and spoken English to British Council IELTS level 7 or TOEFL 250 (computer-based test) or TOEFL 100 (internet-based test) or equivalent. InterviewsAll full-time applicants for postgraduate programmes and semester courses will be invited to schedule an interview with a member of the Institute's staff after receipt of all required application materials. Interviews will be scheduled by the Admissions Manager (please see below). You will be contacted at the appropriate time to make such arrangements. The interviewer will assess the candidate's aptitude for the programme, level of English skill and commitment to study. Interviews are held in London throughout the year and can also be conducted by telephone. The Institute's Admissions Manager will contact you to arrange your interview.
