London is one of the world’s most vibrant centres of contemporary art. Full of enterprising galleries and artists’ spaces that have burgeoned across the capital, it has attracted artists of many different nationalities to live and work here.

This course is aimed at students seeking to experience the art scene in London at close quarters and to learn about the wider historic and cultural implications of contemporary art in context.

Academic Credits
The Summer Study courses can be accredited through your university based on prior approval. For students at postgraduate level wishing to apply, tutors will allocate additional projects and grade on a higher level

Accommodation
Sotheby’s Institute of Art reserves a certain number of rooms near the Institute for the duration of the Summer Study courses. There will be several options depending on student needs. Updated costs and details will be available soon.
